1 ripe pear grated finely with zester
1 yellow onion sliced
1.2lb flank steak sliced thin
72g soy sauce
20g honey
24g sugar
4 green onions chopped
2 tbsp minced garlic (dried)
1 tsp sesame seeds
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 tsp sesame oil
Freeze the steak for 4 hours or more
If more than 4 hours, use DEFROST in the microwave for 2 min.
slice beef thinly (1mm) with a sharp knife
Grate the pear with a zester, keeping the pulp and juice
Add all ingredients to a large bowl with the sliced steak
Mix thoroughly and place in the refrigerator overnight.
After marinading for 24 hours add the steak to the pan.
Cook on medium high heat, flipping occasionally.
Cook until the liquid boils off and the meat begins to brown.
